TACKLE SHED SALMON
LODGE ART
Jessica was given the opportunity to express herself in a BIG way at Redoubt Mountain Lodge. Armed with basic outdoor paint and a creative imagination, she was given free reign to decorate the many 'BEAR' surfaces (Heh heh) of Redoubt Mountain Lodge.
Jessica's first large scale piece was the Tackle Shed Salmon (2015). Jessica later added some additional salmon to accent the drying rack (2019).
RAINCOAT BEARS
Jessica often uses a watercolor or chalk pencil to sketch out her design before adding paint.
The Raincoat Bears adorn the closet where large yellow rain slickers are kept for bear view guests. Completed in 2017.

BEAR VIEW
SIGN IN STATION
Just around the corner from the Raincoat Bears, Jessica added various painted accents to the Bear View sign in station.
FLYROD FISH
This funky design is one of Jessica's personal favorites. Completed in 2019 on a panel that protects the fly rod reels and line from the persistent sun. Not a bad view to paint from!
"BANDO" THE BEAR
"Bando" was completed in 2019 on a large shelving unit just outside the Bear Den. Jessica is currently working on another bear on the other side that will be holding a bouquet of wild Alaskan flowers.
